Imran Khan fears Jiyalas: Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Islamabad, March 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Imran Khan is robbing Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and the common man of the country is troubled. He said that Imran Khan has no sensitivity towards the problems of the people. Chairman PPP was given a rapturous welcome when his long march reached Khairpur.

Addressing the charge crowd of hundreds of thousands of people and Jiyalas, he said that senior leader Qaim Ali Shah and Imran Khan are nearly of the same age but Qaim Ali Shah stills works for the youth whereas the puppet Imran has disappointed the youth. The new Pakistan is not accepted by the people because there is no return of the labour of common man, no return of the crops of growers, no return of the educational degrees because youth cannot get jobs.

He said that history is witness that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto provided jobs to the people, not only in the country but abroad as well. Shaheed Benazir Bhutto served the people of Pakistan and the slogan that was raised was “Benazir Aaye Gi, Rozgar Laye Gi”. When President Zardari came to power, the world was going through one of the worst recessions but he introduced BISP. President Zardari increased salaries up to a 100% and pensions by more than a 100%. In contrast, this puppet for the last three years has been saying that he cannot provide jobs to the youth of the country.

Every promise by Imran Khan proved to be false whether it was 1 crore jobs or 50 lac houses. He is a liar and the Jiyalas will hold him accountable for every lie. Imran says not to worry if you have expensive gas, petrol, electricity, medicine, essential commodities, edibles etc. He does not know that Jiyalas do not worry but it is time for Imran Khan to start worrying. Now, the selected has started worrying. He bowed down before the pressure of this long march and announced to reduce petrol and electricity prices but cannot fool the people because they know that just a day before, the price of electricity increased by 6 rupees and the petrol price by 12 rupees. Imran Khan’s gimmickry will not work.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that in 8 years of rule in KP and 3 years in the federal government, Imran Khan cannot match the development in Khairpur district only. The PPP has established universities in this district. We have Gumbat Hospital in Khairpur district which treats kidney, liver, heart, cancer, Thalassemia and has started free of cost bone marrow transplants. On the other hand, Shaukat Khanum only treats cancer and that too on hefty charges. Chairman PPP said that the long march will enter Punjab the day after tomorrow and through the GT Road, we will enter Islamabad and will remove this undemocratic puppet through a democratic manner that is the no-confidence motion.

The PPP is synonymous with development: Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Islamabad, March 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has once again asked Imran Khan to dissolve the national assembly so that fresh transparent elections are held and real representatives are elected in place of selected and his facilitators. He said that the very first day in the assembly he had called Imran Khan selected thus exposing him to the world. We do not recognise this selected prime minister.

Chairman PPP said this while addressing a massive crowd of the Awami long march at Sukkur at the end of the third day of the march. He said that the selected used to say the inflation is a world phenomenon and he cannot do anything about it but he got frightened by the Jiyalas marching towards Islamabad. He reduced the price of petrol and the electricity tariff. This is the success of the PPP. The Jiyalas are peaceful democratic activists and will not attack the PTV and the parliament like PTI. We are democrats and will not resort to any undemocratic means.

This march will pass through the areas where there are PTI members and we are giving a last chance to accept their mistake and vote for the no-confidence motion. Our demand is to return the democracy which Imran Khan snatched from the people of Pakistan. We will give every province their right. We will take back our right of employment. We will take back the rights of youth, the woman and the minorities. We are coming to Islamabad and we know to claim our rights.

Chairman PPP said that these low-level ministers of the PTI are asking President Zardari what he has done for the country. The PPP gave this country democracy and constitution. Gave the rights to the labourers. Made the grower the owner of their land. Made Pakistan a nuclear power, gave this country missile technology for which the entire country is thankful to Quaid-e-Awam and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. President Zardari gave the Gwadar port and CPEC.

He initiated BISP for the poor women of the country. The country is thankful to President Zardari for giving Khyber Pakhtunkhwa its identity. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that there is no match between the NICVD of Sukkur and that Lady Reading hospital Peshawar. There is nothing equivalent of NICVD in Mianwali. Whatever development is in this country has been given by the PPP and whatever development is to happen in future, the PPP will be credited to that as well.

IHHN Unveils its Ramazan Campaign 2022

Karachi, March 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):Over a hundred guests gathered to witness the unveiling of the Indus Hospital and Health Network’s Ramazan Campaign 2022. The attendees included generous donors; media and government officials; senior management, academics, and staff of the Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN). The Ramazan Campaign 2022 aims at generating resources to continue running the most innovative healthcare network in Pakistan. The event took place at the Korangi Campus.

Salim Razzak Tabani, Chairman of the Fundraising Committee of the Board of Directors of IHHN, warmly welcomed the esteemed guests. He said, “Our vision and mission is to Please Allah Subhana wa Taa’la by ensuring free and quality healthcare accessible to the people across Pakistan. We are grateful for all the support we have received from the government and private partners, generous donors, corporates, media, youth volunteers, and ambassadors who have helped us in our journey. Today we are launching our Ramazan campaign and are reaching out to you all to once again help us in our mission by raising awareness about Indus and its initiatives.”

Syed Mashhood Rizvi, Executive Director, Communication and Resource Development, IHHN, presented an overview of Pakistan’s healthcare scenario and the supply and demand gap in the public health sector. He elaborated on how IHHN’s existence was the need of the hour and how Indus has created a nationwide healthcare system based on self-help, sincerity, and love for humanity.

He also provided an overview of IHHN management and governance. He briefed the audience about the six international partners and how Indus is helping create a pool of highly skilled healthcare professionals through the Indus University of Health Science. He informed the audience that the new hospital building at the Korangi Campus will make the Korangi Campus, the largest private hospital with 1,350 beds.

He informed the audience of the grim statistics that were gripping the nation. On average, 40% of the Pakistani population (90m) earns PKR 3,900 per month, with PKR 3,000 spent on food, shelter, and clothing. The common man is left with only PKR 900 for healthcare and other expenses.

He also provided an overview of average healthcare charges in the country for different healthcare services, which are way beyond the earning capacity of the majority of the population. In this dire situation, Indus came as not only an alternative but as a ray of hope. Since its inception, there has been an increase of patient volume by 40%, with 450,000 patients benefitting from the services across the Network monthly.

As a whole, Indus has admitted 800,000 patients, had 14 million OPD visits, and conducted 16 million diagnostic tests. This includes more than 10,500 children treated for cancer; more than 15,000 orthotic and prosthetic devices provided; more than 100 children receiving Cochlear implants; more than 13,000 Diabetic patients benefited; and approximately 1,000 children are enrolled in the clubfoot program.

Mashhood Rizvi told the guests that, to date, Indus had spent PKR 43.20 billion on patient treatment in IHHN-owned hospitals. He informed the audience that it is amongst IHHN’s most ambitious philanthropic campaigns to raise PKR 14.1 million to treat the underserved and marginalized population of the country. While elaborating on the Ramazan Campaign, Syed Mashhood Rizvi spoke of the power of philanthropy and the transformational vision of those who donate.

“IHHN solely relies on Zakat and donations,” he explained, “and for us, Ramazan is a time of great significance in terms of the collection of Zakat. We are running a campaign to reach out to many current and prospective donors, locally and internationally, so that they can consider IHHN as the main contender for their Zakat contribution. We are focusing the Ramazan campaign on generating donations for running the network of hospitals, Regional Blood Centers, Physical Rehabilitation Centers, and primary care clinics across Pakistan.”

He added that in the holy month of Ramazan, the Muslim Ummah looks for avenues to fulfill their religious obligation (Farz) of Zakat responsibly to reap the rewards in this world and the Hereafter. The fulfillment of this Farz by our supporters enables IHHN to fulfill its duty of providing free of charge-quality healthcare to millions of people and share the burden of healthcare provision by becoming the source of hope to the most under-served communities across Pakistan.

This idea has three aspects: IHHN is fulfilling its duty (fareeza) of serving the nation with free and quality healthcare. The donor can fulfill their duty (farz) of not only giving Zakat but giving it responsibly so that the impact of their Zakat can be optimized. IHHN rightfully deserves your Zakat because it will utilize Zakat responsibly to benefit countless deserving patients. Zakat brings relief to many families as their loved ones receive quality treatment without any financial burden. Your Zakat will bring multifold blessings in return as more than 70% of Zakat eligible patients will receive its numerous.

After the presentation, Mashhood Rizvi invited Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, Chief Executive Officer of the Indus Hospital and Health Network. He started with an introduction to the journey and trials that led to the inception of the Indus Hospital and Health Network. He credits his fellow philanthropists and dedicated colleagues that worked alongside him that made helped create the institute that answers patient’s prayers.

He concluded his speech with an address describing the limitations of the current hospital building and the reality that more needs to be done to address the ever-increasing patient load. He grew emotional as he described how Indus is the only health network in Pakistan that does not have a profit and thanked The Almighty for all the success Indus had seen, and that it has been able to make such an impact in Pakistan. At the end of the ceremony, a mass prayer was held for the campaign’s success.
