National Unity Council of Pakistan Holds All Parties Conference on Key National and International Issues

Lahore, The National Unity Council of Pakistan, chaired by Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Zubair, convened an All Parties Conference in Islamabad to deliberate on various critical issues, including the situation in Gaza, the Mubarak Sani Qadiani case in the Supreme Court, and the government’s adherence to the Federal Sharia Court’s ruling to abolish interest.

According to Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, the conference resulted in a joint declaration addressing the escalating economic crisis, law and order deterioration, increased terrorism, and tension among the government, establishment, politics, and judiciary. The delegates reached a consensus on several national and international matters, voicing a unified stance on each topic.

Controversially, the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the Mubarak Sani Qadiani case was discussed extensively. The conference demanded the withdrawal of the decision, which they claim contradicts the Constitution, Quran, and Sunnah. This issue has stirred significant religious sentiments across the nation, with all attending parties agreeing that any ruling that undermines Islamic laws and designates Qadiyanism as non-antagonistic to Islam is unacceptable.

On international matters, the conference condemned the ongoing violence in Gaza, describing the Israeli actions as a massacre and genocide against Palestinians. They noted the severe humanitarian crisis, with thousands of casualties, including a large number of children. The assembly lauded the efforts of countries that have recognized Palestine and criticized nations supporting Israel, emphasizing that true world peace can only be achieved with the resolution of this conflict.

The participants also discussed the domestic economic situation, heavily criticizing the current fiscal policies and the non-implementation of the Federal Sharia Court’s decision to abolish interest-based economic systems. They argued that reliance on indigenous resources and adherence to Islamic economic principles are crucial for Pakistan’s self-reliance and stability.

Furthermore, the conference highlighted the ongoing terrorism in Pakistan, expressing solidarity with the security forces and stressing the need for a comprehensive strategy to counteract these threats effectively.

In conclusion, the All Parties Conference resolved to initiate a national movement post-Eid, focusing on constitutional supremacy, democracy restoration, economic stability, and other critical societal issues. They reiterated the importance of adhering to Islamic principles and constitutional mandates to ensure national prosperity and stability.
