Islamabad, The Tehreek Nafez Fiqh Jafaria (TNFJ) has announced the commemoration of ‘Ushra Sadiq Aal Muhammad’ from the 15th to the 25th of Shawwal, focusing on mourning and educational events to honor the legacy of Imam Jafar Sadiq.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the observance will include funeral gatherings, mourning processions, and seminars globally, where scholars will discuss the life and contributions of Imam Jafar Sadiq. Central Vice President Bawa Syed Farzand Ali Shah Kazmi highlighted the historical and intellectual significance of Imam Jafar Sadiq, noting his impact during Europe’s Dark Ages and his role in safeguarding Islamic teachings. Kazmi emphasized that the Quran and the teachings of Muhammad and his family offer solutions to the current challenges facing the Muslim community, including political and social divisions and external influences on the Islamic world.
The event is also set to feature Syed Samran Naqvi as the convenor of the organizing committee, with Prof. Ghulam Abbas Hydari as the deputy convenor and A. Arkani as the secretary, ensuring a coordinated execution of the planned activities.
