Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Announces New Leadership Appointments

Lahore, In a significant organizational reshuffle, Hafiz Naeemur Rahman, Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, has appointed Ameer-ul-Azeem as the new Secretary General. The appointment was made after consultations with the party’s Shura during the first day of the Central Majlis Shura meeting.

According to Jamaat-E-Islami Pakistan, the meeting, which began on Friday, also saw the appointment of Liaquat Baloch, Mian Mohammad Aslam, Dr. Attaur Rahman, and Dr. Osama Razi as Naib Emirs. The process to appoint additional Naib Emirs and a Deputy Secretary General is ongoing and will be finalized after further consultations.

Qaiser Sharif, spokesperson for Jamaat-e-Islami, stated that the Shura meeting will continue over the weekend, during which annual reports will be presented and reviewed. The meeting will also address important national issues through the approval of resolutions, and assess the current political landscape.

Amir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman is expected to announce a comprehensive plan of action for the party’s future activities and initiatives once the leadership appointments are complete and the Shura’s deliberations conclude.
