ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari marked World Food Safety Day by underscoring the significance of food safety in public health and sustainable development. The observance, initiated by the United Nations in 2018, is jointly led by the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) to raise awareness and encourage global action on food safety.
