Only 1 in 3 consumers positive about unemployment reducing in Q2 2022: Consumer Confidence Index Q1 2022 by Gallup Pakistan and Dun and Bradstreet

Islamabad, August 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to Dun and Bradstreet and Gallup Pakistan Consumer Confidence Index, the overall outlook regarding unemployment situation in the next months compared to today shows some improvement.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “In your opinion, compared to today, in the next six months, how will the unemployment level change?” In response to this question, 33% said ‘worse’, 18% said ‘better’, 25% said ‘same as before’, 12% said ‘much worse’, 2% said ‘much better and 9% did not respond or said they don’t know.
