International Day of Al-Quds to Demonstrate Solidarity with the Oppressed

Islamabad, The International Day of Al-Quds will be observed with nationwide peaceful protests in Pakistan, as announced by the Central Secretary General of Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqah-e-Jafaria (TNFJ) of Pakistan, Allama Raja Basharat Hussain Emami. The observance aims to express solidarity with oppressed communities globally, including those in Kashmir and Palestine, and to oppose global colonialism.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the TNFJ plans to fulfill a religious duty on the 25th of Ramadan, coinciding with World Al-Quds Day, by organizing events across the country. These events will call for the liberation of the first Qibla and support for the oppressed worldwide. Allama Raja Basharat highlighted that unity and brotherhood are crucial for addressing the challenges faced by the Muslim world and combating internal discord.

The TNFJ has appointed regional conveners to lead the organization of these events: Muhammad Ali Al Qasim Zaidi for Sindh, Ghulam Mustafa Chingizi for Balochistan, Professor Samar Abbas Ghaffari for Gilgit and Baltistan, and Syed Sajid Kazmi for Azad Kashmir. The activities will include rallies and seminars where clerics and speakers will advocate for justice, condemn oppression, and promote support for the oppressed.

Emphasizing the historical significance, Allama Basharat Emami noted that the TNFJ has been commemorating World Al-Quds Day on the last Friday of Ramadan for several centuries, inspired by the teachings of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s.). The day’s observance serves as a platform to unify efforts against tyranny and to advocate for global justice and peace.
