Islamabad: NUST Placement Office successfully concluded the NUST Young Students Engagement Program 2026 (NYSEP-2026) with a closing ceremony at its H-12 campus. The event featured Admiral (Retd.) Mohammad Asif Sandila, Chairman of the Moawin Foundation, as the chief guest, alongside Pro-Rector Dr. Rizwan Riaz, industry partners, faculty members, and participating students.
According to National University of Sciences and Technology, the program, designed for Matric/O Levels and F.Sc./A Levels students, involved over 170 participants from across Pakistan. Over two weeks, students engaged in immersive sessions at various schools within the university, experiencing academic disciplines through laboratory experiences, workshops, and project-based learning.
A notable feature of this year's program was the NYSEP Hackathon, created in collaboration with AdVentures Studio to promote innovation and problem-solving. Sixteen teams competed across three rounds, culminating in a Grand Finale assessed by a panel of judges.
Through initiatives like NYSEP 2026, NUST aims to provide young students with opportunities to explore their potential and engage with academia and industry, equipping them with skills for future leadership and innovation in Pakistan.
