Lahore: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has announced admissions for its MS, MPhil, Master's, and PhD programs for the Fall 2026 semester. According to UET spokesperson Dr. Tanveer Qasim, eligible candidates from across Pakistan are invited to apply online to join one of the country's leading institutions for higher education and research.
Dr. Qasim stated that PhD programs are offered in various faculties, including Architecture and Planning, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computing, Earth Sciences and Engineering, the Center of Excellence in Water Resources Engineering, and the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities, and Islamic Studies. MS, MPhil, and Master's programs are available in multiple disciplines, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and many others. The Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cyber Security in Lahore offers modern programs.
Special emphasis is placed on student support, with selected PhD students eligible for research support scholarships, registration fee concessions, and tuition fee discounts. Financial assistance is available for students in MS, MPhil, and Master's programs, with special concessions for UET alumni, female students, and faculty members. Applicants for MS, MPhil, and Master's programs must have completed 16 years of education in the relevant discipline, while PhD applicants require 18 years of education and must meet university admission requirements.
Prospective students have until August 13, 2026, to submit online applications. Admission tests will begin on August 17, 2026, followed by interviews from August 20 to 22, 2026. The new academic session will start on September 7, 2026.
