PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari grieved over the death of renowned German scholar and archaeologist Prof. Dr. Michael Jansen

Islamabad, July 18, 2022 (PPI-OT): Chairman Pakistan People’s Party and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of renowned German scholar and archaeologist Prof. Dr. Michael Jansen.

In a condolence message, the PPP Chairman said that Dr. Michael Jansen played pivotal role in the preservation of Mohan Jo Daro as a global heritage and his lifelong scholarly research into the Indus valley civilization ruins shall remain as a magnificent treasure to further explore the World Heritage Site layer by layer for future archaeologists.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari eulogized the services of Dr. Michael Jansen in the field of archaeological research and people of Pakistan will also remember him with great respect and reverences as an scholar who helping in unfolding the buried history and heritage of Indus valley. PPP Chairman condoled the death of Dr. Michael Jansen with his family, friends, fans and students and prayed for heavenly abode to the departed soul.

Admission opens in M.Sc. Thermo-Fluid Engineering (Fall-2022)

Lahore, July 18, 2022 (PPI-OT): Applications are invited on prescribed forms for Admission to Masters in Thermo-Fluid Engineering. This evening program spans over one-and-a-half years and is offered by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, (KSK Campus) UET Lahore.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates can apply who have earned: (a) a CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 in a semester system or (b) at least 60% in a term or annual system in any one of the following four-year B.Sc. Engineering programs:

1. B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering.

2. B.Sc. Chemical Engineering

3. B.Sc. Mechatronics Engineering

4. B.Sc. Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering

UET Lahore is administering the entrance exam, Engineering Colleges Admission Test (ECAT-2022), for all the public-sector engineering universities of Punjab

Lahore, July 18, 2022 (PPI-OT): The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore is administering the entrance exam, Engineering Colleges Admission Test (ECAT-2022), for all the public-sector engineering universities of Punjab.

The computer-based subject test is being executed in UET and seven partner universities concurrently. The test is spread over a week (i.e., July 18, 2022, to July 22, 2022-both days inclusive) with four sessions, each of hundred minutes, per day.

A total of 26,338 candidates have registered for the test; 14,188 candidates are being entertained within UET Lahore while the rest, 12,150, by the partner institutes. Those students who have still not registered for the Entrance Test and are interested in appearing in it need to send an email to uetentrytest@gmail.com latest by 2:00 pm, July 21, 2022.

Federal Minister, Information Secretary of PPP-P Shazia Marri’s statement

Islamabad, July 18, 2022 (PPI-OT): Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety and Central Information Secretary of PPP-P Shazia Atta Marri while criticizing on PTI has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s leadership tried to create the atmosphere of violence and confrontation during the ongoing by-election in the Punjab province.

She added that PTI promoted abuse and hatred culture in the country and now, PTI has become a symbol of abuse, forgery and misrepresentation. She said that Imran Khan’s politic has ended after removing him by the vote of no-confidence. She further said that PTI conducted election campaign in Punjab province by stealing the money of the people of the three provinces.
