High-level research on crops with the help of intercropping technology

A two-month training program has been started to increase the professional capacity of security guards organized by IUB

Bahawalpur, July 21, 2022 (PPI-OT):A two-month training program has been started to increase the professional capacity of security guards organized by Security System Division, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. All security staff will be trained in this training program.

The training program will be completed under the supervision of expert trainers from Elite Force, Rescue 1122 and Civil Defense besides instructors from Security Division. Chief Security Officer Major Retired Syed Ijaz Hussain Shah said that the purpose of this training program organized under the direction of Vice-Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob is to show the professional ability of the security staff to deal with any emergency situation. At the end of the training session, a practical session will also be conducted in which a mock exercise will also be conducted and a large exercise will also be conducted with all the security agencies.

Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob at Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus. Board members Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Member Provincial Assembly and Member Syndicate, Professor Hameed Raza Siddiqui, Member Syndicate, Registrar Professor Dr. Moazzam Jameel, Additional Registrar Arif Ramooz and subject experts from different universities participated in the meeting.

In the meeting, interviews were conducted with the candidates of the Department of Psychology for the post of professor. Interviews were conducted with the candidates of the Department of Media Studies and the Department of Architecture for the post of associate professor.
