Lahore, July 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi talking to the media has said that today the Supreme Court has given a very good decision, what we wanted has been accepted. He said that Hamza Shahbaz has also said that no political interference and police will be used, the house will be completed by July 22, then the session for the election of the Chief Minister will be held in the Assembly building and nowhere else. He said that the environment created inside the court should be maintained outside the court as well. This is democracy.
PTI parliamentary leader Mian Mahmood-ur-Rasheed said that the judiciary has paved the way for clean and transparent elections and hoped that by-elections would be held in a transparent manner.

Golden jubilee of dissolution on One Unit; Sindh still deprived of due rights: Moot told
Karachi, July 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):Speaker of a moot here Friday regretted that the Sindh Assembly laid the foundation stone of Pakistan but Sindh itself is deprived of its due rights till today. As per details, on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the dissolution of the One Unit a big program was held here at the Arts Council of Pakistan that was attended by a large number of political workers, labours, professors, youths, and women. It was arranged by their coordination committee and Arts Council of Pakistan. The event of the part of the golden jubilee celebrations that started from January 2022 and will continue till year end.
The event was presided over by Abdul Khaliq Junejo chairman Jeay Sindh Mahaz and also addressed by Justice Rasheed Rizvi, Karamat Ali, Masood Noorani, Nasir Mansoor, Prof Aijaz Qureshi, Mazhar Abbas, Comrade Zehra Khan, Mehnaz Rahman and Dr Riaz Sheikh. On the occasion, the English translation of the book written by Prof Aijaz Qureshi on the subject of the One Unit was launched. The program was moderated by senior journalist Yunus Mahar.
The speakers noted that the Sindh Assembly was the first assembly that passed a resolution in favour of Pakistan for the first time, providing a constitutional platform to the voices in favour of Pakistan. However, when Pakistan was formed the atrocities and injustices towards Sindh began. Karachi, the capital city of Sindh, was separated from Sindh and given to the possession of the Centre. Sindh University was expelled from Karachi. Sindhi medium schools in Karachi were closed down. The jobs, properties and factories of Sindhi people were snatched. However, the most lethal attack on Sindh was One Unit, a bid to end the thousands of years old separate identity and status of Sindh.
The speaker said that 15-year period of One Unit was the darkest period in the history of Sindh. The fertile lands of Sindh were given to civil and military bureaucracy. People from other areas start settlement in Sindh with officials support. Not only political activists but writers, poets, teachers, students, lawyers, farmers, labours and shopkeepers took part in this struggle. Moreover, after 1947, for the first time women not only took part politically but also played a leadership role and they went to jail. During this movement a truly nationalist literature, both prose and poetry was created.
Talking about the present situation, the speakers said that injustice to Sindh and loot and plunder of its resources has been continuing. They said that in the shape of 1973 constitution a sort of indirect One Unit is still slapped on Sindh. However, they said that the 18th amendment is a welcome development towards giving some rights to Sindh and other provinces.
The speakers termed demographic changes due to influx of population from areas, construction of dams and canals on the River Indus, illegal possession of lands in the name development and rapid environmental changes as the most serious problems facing Sindh.
They said that the State institutions are strengthening feudal and extremist classes to weaken secular, enlightened and progressive movement for the national and class-based struggle of Sindh. They regretted that in the nationalist movement of Sindh some vested interests were joining hands with feudal and extremist elements for their petty personal benefits.
They said that the Pakistan resolution of 1940 was basically an agreement and on its basis a new agreement should be inked with national entities in Pakistan. It was demanded that Bahria Town, DHA City, Zulfiqarabad, Thar coal project and such other anti-Sindh and anti-environment projects should be ended. A just water distribution should be ensured. To keep intact the historical secular cultural identity of Sindh influx of population should be controlled as per accepted International standards.

Syed Fakhar Ali Shah’s visit of USA will help in the Development of Baseball in Pakistan and Asia
Lahore, July 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):President of Pakistan Federation Baseball and Member at Large Baseball Federation of Asia Syed Fakhar Ali Shah’s visit to USA in connection with the promotion of baseball will help in the development of baseball in Asia including Pakistan. On his departure from Lahore for the tour, his thought-provoking speech was an indication of his keen interest in the development of baseball in Pakistan.
On his arrival, American baseball coach Randall Arms, who visited Pakistan last month, gave him a warm welcome at Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) and accompanied him to the Community Arts Center where he attended the Baseball Little League International Convocation, the most important purpose of his US tour. During this time, they met with 20-year-old baseball friends and foreign baseball officials and discussed important issues. These dignitaries include the presidents and officials of the Asia Pacific League Group, Africa and France.
At the convocation, American star Todd Frasier, Korn Pepe, took part in the presentation. Later, Syed Fakhr Ali Shah visited the museum where he not only enjoyed seeing the statues and equipment of the ancient baseball players but also got a lot of information. Later he watched a baseball match between Spike and William Sports with coach Randall Arms and his Pakistani mates and got details about Little League Volunteer Stadium.
Syed Fakhar Ali Shah then arrived at Auckland Gardens, New York, where he met with key Baseball League management officials and left for Washington after discussing important issues. During this time, he discussed various issues with US politicians and Army officers and other officers Michael George Gillian Waltz, Ronald Jane, Ben Klein, Frank Lucas and further restored the soft image of Pakistan. At the Phillips Training Center, he met with Director Player Development Harrisburg Washington, Djon Watson, Director Operations and Pitching Coordinator Elie Nebholes, Director Pitchingink Stoner and on-the-floor trainer for pitch speed best, Net Rose, where he shared his own performances and coaching. He returned to Pakistan for a short visit and left for Taipei to take part in the Asian elections will be held on 3 July 2022.

Talking with media, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah said that despite not having a single baseball stadium in Pakistan, our performance is significant in Asia and the world, while on the other hand it is also causing significant loss of foreign exchange as they cannot allot to host the mega international events to Pakistan. Besides, despite Pakistan’s strong position, Pakistan is not gaining any strong position in Asia Election.

Homebridge by Beaconhouse signs MoU with Sanjan Nagar Public Education Trust for student scholarships

IUB 2.5MW Solar Power Plant at its Maximum Production Capacity
Bahawalpur, July 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Islamia University of Bahawalpur’s 2.5 MW solar power plant is supplying electricity according to its maximum production capacity. Yesterday, 13282 units of electricity worth Rs. 571,040 were generated from University Solar Park and this success of University Solar Park was also informed by Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob to Chancellor/Governor Punjab Engr. Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman. Who expressed happiness over the performance of Solar Park.
It may be mentioned that the solar energy project of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was set up in collaboration with the Department of Energy, Government of Punjab and has been generating electricity since last year.
