Turbat, The University of Turbat’s Digital Media Club organized a condolence reference to honor the late photographer Sarwar Baloch, known professionally as Kamanchar Baloch, on May 3, 2024. The event, attended by university officials, faculty, students, and members of the Digital Media Club, celebrated Baloch’s contributions to photography and his humanitarian efforts.
According to University of Turbat, the reference included tributes from several speakers who highlighted Kamanchar Baloch’s impactful photographic work that showcased the natural beauty and landscapes of the province. The attendees included Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University, and Mr. Bijjar Baloch, a founding member of the Balochi Music Promotors’ Society.
The event featured a series of speeches from university dignitaries and Digital Media Club members. They recounted Kamanchar Baloch’s active participation in university-led photography events like “Paigham-e-Pakistan” and his charitable initiatives aimed at aiding the underprivileged. The remembrance started with a recitation from the Holy Quran and was followed by Fateha Khawani.
