Lahore, August 10, 2022 (PPI-OT):Meanwhile the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore signed memorandum of understandings with Oasis Pharmaceutical for enhancing academia and industry linkages and advancement in education, training and research activities. Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management Prof Dr Muhammad Azam, Director IPS Dr Tahir Mahmood Khan signed from UVAS and Chief Executive Oasis Pharmaceutical Mr Abdul Ghaafir signed the MoU in a ceremony held at UVAS City Campus on Wednesday.
The aims of the cooperation were to foster advancement in education, training and research in the disciplines to both the Institutions through sharing of faculty, facilities and other resources. Under the MoU, both the parties agreed to work together in students learning, facilitation in personnel capacity building, product development, quality management systems and research for production of medicines according to WHO’s cGMP guidelines to contribute effectively in the healthcare system of Pakistan.
