Mardan, The University of Engineering and Technology Mardan has opened a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the construction and development of basic IT infrastructure as part of its strategic upgrade. The university is inviting sealed technical and financial proposals from firms and suppliers authorized on the Active Taxpayer List of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), targeting an enhanced academic environment through this significant project.
According to University of Engineering and Technology – Mardan, the RFP aims to source materials and expertise for the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) funded project that includes the development of basic infrastructure for the newly upgraded university. The process outlined for submission is a Single Stage Two Envelope bid, with proposals due by 3 pm on April 16, 2024. Detailed terms and conditions, along with the Standard Bidding Documents (SBDs), are available for interested parties on the university’s official website and can also be acquired from the office of Accounts Assistant (PSDP Project) at the university.
The institution emphasizes compliance with local tax laws and participation of firms listed on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the FBR. The submission must include a 2% bid security, and a non-refundable tender fee is required. Proposals received after the due date and time will be considered non-compliant with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules, which govern the tendering process.
