Peshawar, Dr. Fazal Muhammad, the Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at the University of Engineering and Technology, Mardan, attended a significant three-day training program focusing on enhancing quality assurance in higher education across Pakistan. The PSG-2023 training event, held in Peshawar and concluding on April 18, 2024, brought together notable figures from academia and government to discuss and set guidelines for educational standards.
According to University of Engineering and Technology – Mardan, the training was organized by the Higher Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with Khyber Medical University. Key participants included Prof. Dr. Imran Khan, Vice Chancellor of UET, Mardan, Prof. Dr. Zia ul Qayum, Executive Director of the Higher Education Commission, and Mr. Ghulam Saeed, Special Secretary of HED.
The event was capped off with a session chaired by Mr. Meena Khan Afridi, the Minister of Higher Education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, emphasizing the commitment to upholding the highest educational standards in the region.
