Khairpur, March 17, 2022 (PPI-OT): Trials of Weightlifting Talent Hunt under Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Sports Drive were held at Quaid-e-Azam University of Engineering, Science and Technology, (QUEST) Larkana Campus. During the course of trials, the sportsmen from Larkana Division participated. The trials were conducted under the supervision of Mr. Muhammad Murad Pirzada, Director Physical Education, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur and Organizing Secretary of the Kamyab Jawan Sports Drive.
Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Abro, Pro-Vice Chancellor QUEST, Nawabshah was the chief guest on this occasion. Talking to the participants Dr. Zahid Hussain Abro said it is a good initiative taken by the Prime Minister Office in order to promote the sports culture among the youth countrywide.
He also appreciated the efforts of Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur and Sports Section of University for conducting the trials to select the sportsmen from this Division. Mr. Sajjad Hussain Khoso, Mr. Sahir Ahmed Pechohu, Mr. Wajahat Hussain, Mr. Siraj Ahmed, Mr. Nafees Ahmed, General Secretary, Weightlifting, Karachi were present.
