The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has started regular classes in Liaquat Pur sub campus 

Bahawalpur, November 17, 2022 (PPI-OT):Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor, the Islamia Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, the university has crossed another milestone for the socio-economic and educational development of South Punjab.

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur sub-campus has started regular classes in Liaquat Pur. Director Sub-Campus Liaquat Pur Dr. Muhammad Aurangzeb had an introductory session between staff and students. The political, social and educational circles of Liaquat Pur have paid tribute to Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob on the commencement of classes at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Liaquat Pur Campus.

Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob’s role in the social, economic and educational development of South Punjab, especially Bahawalpur Division, is extraordinary. The establishment of a state-of-the-art university like Khawaja Farid University of Engineering and Technology Rahim Yar Khan in just 3 years is due to the founder, Vice Chancellor, Engr. VC Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and other delegations of IUB participated in All Punjab University Innovation Expo 2022

Bahawalpur, November 17, 2022 (PPI-OT):A delegation of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, participated in the All Punjab University Innovation Expo 2022 at the Punjab Higher Education Commission. In the exhibition, 259 projects were presented by 135 private and public universities of Punjab.

Projects in civil, chemical, mechanical, meta-allergy, electrical, electronics, computer science and IT, health, medicine, biomedical sciences, agriculture, veterinary sciences, social sciences, business, economics and arts were placed in the exhibition.

Samina Ejaz, Associate Professor, Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, was awarded the first prize for presenting the best project in the field of Biomedical Sciences. Her scientific research is related to cancer treatment and food industry, which was presented at the conference.

The scientists, experts and industrialists present in the conference appreciated it a lot. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor spoke in detail about the current scenario, changing conditions, opportunities and challenges in the field of higher education at the national and global level. Digital South Punjab Roadshow organized by IUB and Punjab Information Technology Board will start from November 18, 2022 

Bahawalpur, November 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):Digital South Punjab Roadshow organized by Islamia University Bahawalpur and Punjab Information Technology Board will start from November 18, preparations are complete. The Islamia University Bahawalpur and Punjab IT Board are jointly organizing the first Digital South Punjab Road Show 2022 starting from November 18 from Sadiqabad, the last tehsil of South Punjab, for which all the preparations and arrangements have been finalized.

Addressing the press conference on this occasion, Rizwan Majeed, the founder of Digital South Punjab, says that we are trying to eliminate unemployment and create a sustainable environment for technological development in South Punjab. Rizwan Majeed is the founder of Digital South Punjab who is known as an IT Guru in South Punjab and he also has experience of working with multinational organizations at the international level. Rizwan Majeed is also the founder of launching IT systems and many other successful projects in Khawaja Farid University of Engineering and Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan. Rizwan Majeed is currently associated with Islamia University as Director of IT.

Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob inaugurated the Library named as “Zafar Lashari Research Library” in Ahmedpur East 

Bahawalpur, November 15, 2022 (PPI-OT):Islamia University Bahawalpur has been inaugurated. A modern style library was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur Engineer Prof. Dr. Athar Mehboob and Dean Faculty of Arts and Languages ​​Prof. Dr. Javed Hasan Chandio in Mehrab Wala, a suburb of Ahmedpur Sharqiya.
