Digital South Punjab Roadshow organized by IUB and Punjab Information Technology Board will start from November 18, 2022 

Bahawalpur, November 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):Digital South Punjab Roadshow organized by Islamia University Bahawalpur and Punjab Information Technology Board will start from November 18, preparations are complete. The Islamia University Bahawalpur and Punjab IT Board are jointly organizing the first Digital South Punjab Road Show 2022 starting from November 18 from Sadiqabad, the last tehsil of South Punjab, for which all the preparations and arrangements have been finalized.

This roadshow is being organized from November 18 to 28, 2022. This roadshow is being organized from 18 to 28 November 2022. During this ten-day digital road show,15 cities of South Punjab, Bahawalpur, Ahmedpur Sharqia, Yazman, Liaquatpur, Khanpur, Zahir Pir, Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad, Mailsi, Khanpur, Fort Abbas, Haroonabad, Christian and 30 thousand participants are expected to participate in Bahawalnagar.

Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, who is also a world-class IT expert, said on the occasion that the purpose of the Digital South Punjab Roadshow aims to empower the tech industry in underdeveloped areas by promoting the IT industry in South Punjab and introducing tech experts.

This roadshow will provide recognition, opportunity and platform to connect with regional tech experts. Digital South Punjab Roadshow will span more than 10 days during which several programs will be included in more than 15 cities of South Punjab.

Addressing the press conference on this occasion, Rizwan Majeed, the founder of Digital South Punjab, says that we are trying to eliminate unemployment and create a sustainable environment for technological development in South Punjab. There will be events like mentoring sessions, seminars, meetings, panel discussions, inspirational talks, success stories and award distribution etc.

Rizwan Majeed is the founder of Digital South Punjab who is known as an IT Guru in South Punjab and he also has experience of working with multinational organizations at the international level. Rizwan Majeed is also the founder of launching IT systems and many other successful projects in Khawaja Farid University of Engineering and Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan. Rizwan Majeed is currently associated with Islamia University as Director of IT.

Vice Chancellor Engineer Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob. Under his mentorship and guidance, he changed the traditional system in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The university’s 65000 students, more than 1800 teachers, 15 faculties, 132 departments and more than 40 directorates of the university have a vast infrastructure on modern IT platforms.

They also have the privilege of moving. He introduced IT-based systems at Islamia University Bahawalpur, including My IUB App, Directorate of IT Teaching, which has now become an indispensable part of research and campus life. It deals with all IT related matters in Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalnagar campuses of the university.
