Rawalkot, A seminar at Jamia Poonch Rawalkot, focusing on the Japanese Government “MEXT” Scholarship 2025, provided students with valuable insights into securing educational opportunities in Japan.
According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Zubair Khan, who is also a member of the “MEXT” Alumni Association of Pakistan, led the seminar. Dr. Khan, who completed his PhD in Japan under this scholarship, detailed the application process, eligibility requirements, and document preparation for prospective students. He emphasized the benefits of global exposure and described Japan as an ideal destination for research and educational advancements.
The seminar, hosted by the Department of Plant Breeding and Molecular Genetics, Faculty of Agriculture, also included discussions on various scholarship opportunities available through Japanese government programs, universities, private foundations, and research initiatives. Dr. Khan also spoke about part-time job possibilities for students in Japan and the importance of understanding the Japanese language.
Dr. Gul Raana Ejaz, another assistant professor at the faculty, also addressed the attendees, further underscoring the significance of international education opportunities.
