Sargodha, October 16, 2021 (PPI-OT):In the memory of nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Sargodha University organized Quran Khawani in the university’s mosque after the Jummah prayer today. To pay rich tribute to the services of the deceased, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Saleem Mazhar, administrative heads and faculty members conveyed condolences, recited Quran and prayed for his higher rank in Jannah.
Prof. Dr. Saleem Mazhar expressed heartfelt sorrow and grief on the demise of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan. In the condolence message, the Vice Chancellor remarked that Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan has left an indelible mark on Pakistan’s history by providing the nuclear shield. Dr. Khan was the national asset, and his demise is a huge loss for our country. His services and contribution will always be acknowledged and remembered, he said.
