Khairpur, February 14, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Spokesperson of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur has lamented on the issuance of statement uploaded on the Social Media by the SALUTA on the issuance of letters to the not eligible candidates who applied for the posts of Associate Professors and Professors. The Spokesperson has clarified that their version and stance is irrational and illogical.
This is in the history of 33 years that such practice of fair play has been adopted by the University Authorities to convey the grey areas to the aspirant candidates. These candidates are invited to represent their version regarding their eligibility before the Scrutiny Committee chaired by Worthy Vice Chancellor on 17-18 February 2022 wherein the President and General Secretary of SALUTA will be available.
The Spokesperson has maintained that the process of scrutiny was made in a transparent and judicious way. It is recalled that on last Friday, the meeting of Executive Council of SALUTA was held with the Vice Chancellor. In this meeting, it was decided that the list of eligible and not eligible candidates will be dispatched to the concerned.
Meanwhile, the list of Experts will also be sent to the Registrar Office on or before 15 February 2022. After assurance from the Administration, the SALUTA Representatives promised that they will call off the protest, but today they continued sit-in in front of Administration Block. This is tantamount a breach made by the Executive Council SALUTA. The Spokesperson has appealed the teaching fraternity to continue their academic and research work inline with their national duty.
