Karachi, January 04, 2023 (PPI-OT):Pakistan People’s Party Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was a symbol of the power of the people, his ideology, struggle and sacrifice are eternal.
According to the message issued by Media Cell Bilawal Hawass, in his message on the 95th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, he said that Bhutto is an ideology, which those who tried to erase became nameless in history. While Bhutto’s name still echoes in every corner of the world including the streets of Pakistan.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Quaid-e-Awam was the most popular leader of the nation after Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who took the country forward politically, economically and socially through his sincerity, prudence and hard work.
He said that Shaheed Bhutto gave political consciousness and empowered the people, gave the country the first unified constitution and nuclear program, gave Pakistan the Islamic world made the center of and laid the foundation of Pak-China relations.
He said that transforming the Pakistan-China relations into an unbreakable friendship is also the distinction of Chairman Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. The PPP Chairman said that the Quaid-i-Awam as the first elected Prime Minister of the country gave the workers in Pakistan the right to form trade unions and ended anti-labour policies.
By carrying out agricultural reforms, land was given to the landless farmers and the poor became the owners of houses. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that martyr Ms. Benazir Bhutto struggled throughout her life to promote the ideology of leader of the people and complete her mission and did not care about her life.
He reiterated his determination to protect the Constitution of 1973, strengthen democracy, promote tolerance and equality and develop Pakistan as a role model for the Islamic world in the light of the vision and mission of the founding chairman of his party, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
