Lahore, Tahir Ibrahim Lali, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) from PP 158, has emphasized the significant progress and developmental projects initiated under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif. Lali credited Sharif with steering the country towards development and prosperity during his tenure.
According to Pakistan Muslim League (N), Lali highlighted several achievements from Nawaz Sharif’s time in office, including the enhancement of infrastructure and energy projects which benefitted the common people. He pointed out that under Sharif’s leadership, the government curbed inflation, ended load shedding, and launched substantial projects like the Orange Train and Metro Bus systems, all part of a broader commitment to improving the nation’s economic landscape. Lali also mentioned the special focus given to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) power plants, underscoring their role in strengthening Pakistan’s infrastructure.
The senior PML-N leader criticized the political targeting of Nawaz Sharif in the previous elections, describing it as a dark chapter in the country’s history. He asserted that these actions were part of a well-thought-out plan for political revenge, which impacted the party’s ability to continue its development agenda.
