LUMS MBA Class of 2012 Establishes Scholarship Fund to Support Students

Lahore, The MBA Class of 2012 from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) has taken a significant step to aid future students by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with LUMS to establish a scholarship fund. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance in the form of interest-free loans to deserving undergraduate and MBA scholars at LUMS, facilitating access to high-quality education.

According to Lahore University of Management Sciences, the MoU was signed in a ceremony held in Dubai on April 26, 2024. The signatories included Dr. Ali Cheema, Vice Chancellor of LUMS, and Mr. Abeer Hamid, a representative of the MBA Class of 2012. This collaboration reflects the deep commitment of LUMS alumni to give back to their alma mater and support the next generation of students.

Mr. Hamid shared his enthusiasm about the initiative, stating, “LUMS has been a catalyst for personal and professional growth for many of us, and this scholarship fund is a testament to the profound impact the university has had on our lives.
