Faisalabad, National Textile University in Faisalabad inaugurated its Inter-Departmental Table Tennis Championship 2024 with a lively opening ceremony in the university’s multipurpose hall. The event commenced with an exciting match between the BS Textile Engineering (KNT) and School of Arts and Design teams.
According to National Textile University, the opening ceremony featured the participation of Mr. Imran Ali, Sports Officer, who officially inaugurated the championship. The initial match saw the School of Arts and Design (SAD) securing a victory over the BS Textile Engineering team with a score of 2-0, setting a competitive tone for the tournament.
M. Pervez Akhtar, another Sports Officer, alongside Mr. Sajid Anwar, Physical Training Instructor, attended the event, emphasizing the university’s commitment to promoting sports and physical fitness among its students.
The championship is expected to be a spirited contest showcasing the table tennis skills of students from various departments, contributing to the enhancement of sporting spirit and camaraderie within the university.
