Lahore, The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Central Punjab, in collaboration with Orci Trials Pvt Ltd, hosted a one-day workshop on “Good Clinical Practices (GCP)” on February 22, 2024. The event was designed to enhance the skills of educators in clinical research methodologies, reflecting the faculty’s commitment to maintaining high educational standards in pharmaceutical sciences.
According to University of Central Punjab, the workshop was facilitated by Dr. Steven Bukvic, CEO of ACROSS GlobalTM and a member of the Pan-Asian Clinical Research Association (PACRA). Dr. Bukvic, a renowned international trainer on GCP, led the session that aimed to boost research and innovation through global collaboration, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The primary goal of the workshop was to equip participants with a deeper understanding of clinical research’s essential aspects. Topics covered included drafting research protocols, managing source documentation, and the process of obtaining informed consent. The event was part of the faculty’s ongoing effort to ensure that its educators are well-versed in the latest developments in pharmaceutical education and clinical practices.
