Quetta, The University of Balochistan held its 176th meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai, with significant participation from university leadership and faculty members.
According to University of Balochistan, the meeting focused on enhancing the educational and research landscape at the university. Key topics discussed included the selection of scholars for degree programs, the introduction of new educational plans, and the improvement of entrance examination procedures. The board made several decisions aimed at bolstering the MPhil and PhD degree programs and the overall performance of various departments.
During the meeting, Prof. Bazai emphasized the necessity of aligning the university’s policies with the modern educational demands to foster innovative research experiences. He highlighted the importance of developing market-relevant academic sectors to provide students and scholars with robust educational and research opportunities.
