Kuwait Red Crescent Society and Pakistan Red Crescent jointly help the flood victims in Sindh 

Karachi, September 03, 2022 (PPI-OT):Floods in Pakistan have affected more than 30 million people across the country and resulted in deaths and injuries and widespread displacement of residents of affected areas. A delegation of Kuwait Red Crescent Society visited the Sindh Branch of Pakistan Red Crescent in Karachi and met with Chairman PRC-Sindh Samar Ali Khan, Senior Vice Chairman Raffique Ahmed Jafferi, Provincial Secretary Kanwar Waseem, Treasurer Dr Majid Alvi, Managing Committee Member Dr Syed Ali Warsi, and Deputy Director Media and Communication PRCS-NHQ Sher Zaman.

The Kuwait Red Crescent Society intends to provide flood victims with hygiene kits and food, as well as to arrange medicine for a medical camp in Sindh. The delegate will also visit the flood-affected areas and distribute the relief items.

Chairman of Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh, Mr Samar Ali Khan, appreciated the plans, intentions and efforts of the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society delegation to help the flood-affected people of Sindh. The Chairman urged the corporate leaders, philanthropists and Red Crescent Red Cross movement partners to make maximum donations and join hands with the Pakistan Red Crescent for the flood-affected families so that the needy can be helped in time.
