Despite claims of upcoming GDP growth from the government, only 25% Pakistanis feel that their income will increase in the coming year 2022: Consumer Confidence Index Q3 2021 by Gallup Pakistan and Dun and Bradstreet 

Islamabad, December 21, 2021 (PPI-OT):According to a Consumer Confidence Index survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, despite claims of upcoming GDP growth from the government, only 25% Pakistanis feel that their income will increase in the coming year 2022.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “In your opinion, compared to last year, in the coming year, what change will come in your and your household’s income?” In response to this question, 6% said ‘increase a lot’, 19% said ‘increase’, 28% said ‘no change’, 26% said ‘decrease’, and 9% said ‘decrease a lot’. 12% did not know or provided no response.
