Rawalpindi Celebrates the Life and Teachings of Hazrat Abu Talib (AS) as a Universal Model

Rawalpindi, On Wednesday, 29th Shawwal, the community commemorates the birthday of Hazrat Abu Talib (AS), uncle of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), with a series of events celebrating his life and contributions to humanity. Makhdoom Syed Farzand Ali Shah Kazmi, Central Vice President of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria Pakistan, described Hazrat Abu Talib (AS) as a universal beacon of light whose life serves as a profound guide for overcoming challenges.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the celebrations will include religious ceremonies, concerts, and communal gatherings, where attendees will pledge to dedicate their energies to upholding human dignity, religious values, and national integrity. Prayers will be offered for the stability of Pakistan, the success of its army, and the safety of Islamic holy sites. Syed Farzand Kazmi emphasized the role of Hazrat Abu Talib (AS) as the first Naat-e-Khawan of the Messenger of Allah, whose life of mysticism and sacrifice remains a powerful example for all.

Kazmi also highlighted the influence of Hazrat Fatimah Masooma Qom, noting her significant impact on the city of Qom and her esteemed position in the realms of piety and asceticism. The event aims to draw on these historical figures’ lives as models of virtue and dedication that continue to inspire and guide the community today.
