Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Commits to Addressing Concerns of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria Following Protest Incident

Islamabad, A delegation from Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria, led by Central Secretary Public Relations Syed Hasan Kazmi, met with Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon, to discuss grievances arising from a recent incident during a mourning protest rally. The delegation expressed concerns about the administration’s handling of the event, which included baton charges.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the meeting addressed the issues faced by the Shia community during the rally commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hafar Sadiq (a). Deputy Commissioner Memon expressed regret over the incident and announced the formation of an inquiry committee to investigate the matter thoroughly. He praised the movement’s workers for maintaining peace despite the provocations.

During the discussions, Hasan Kazmi emphasized the importance of providing equal rights to all citizens and religious schools in Pakistan, reflecting the vision of the country’s founder. Deputy Commissioner Memon assured the delegation that measures would be taken to ensure better communication and address the concerns of the mourners in the upcoming Muharram. The meeting also included prominent community leaders like Allama Fakhr Abbas Hamdani, Allama Kazim Raza Kazmi, and others from Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria.
