Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Calls for Judicial Inquiry into May 9 Violence in Karachi

Karachi, In a forceful statement, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has condemned the attacks that occurred on May 9, marking them as a dark chapter in Pakistan’s history. He demanded accountability and a judicial inquiry into the violent incidents that targeted significant national symbols including the Jinnah House and military installations.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Chairman PPP decried the May 9 violence as an orchestrated effort to destabilize the country and enforce fascism, stating that the perpetrator behind these condemnable actions is well-known. He underscored the unprecedented nature of the events, highlighting that such acts of violence, including the leaking of classified documents and attacking military facilities, are not only detrimental to Pakistan’s political landscape but are also anti-national.

Chairman Bhutto Zardari advocated for a comprehensive judicial inquiry led by the Chief Justice to ensure a thorough investigation into the events. He stressed the importance of commitment from all political parties, including the PTI, to accept the findings of the judicial commission to uphold justice and national integrity.
