Faisalabad, Students from the School of Art and Design (SOAD) at National Textile University recently visited various markets in Faisalabad to explore and procure accessories and raw materials for their design projects.

According to National Textile University, the field trip was organized by faculty members Ms. Anum, Ms. Aroobah, and Ms. Mubarra with the goal of providing students with practical experience in sourcing materials and understanding industry trends. During their visit, students interacted with local vendors to learn about the availability and applications of different accessories and raw materials, enhancing their understanding of the practical aspects of design and production.

The experience also served as an inspiration for students, offering them a firsthand look at a variety of materials that could be incorporated into their upcoming projects. Following the market visit, the students displayed the materials they acquired on the department’s display boards, sharing their findings and insights with their peers to foster a collaborative learning environment.
