Rawalkot, German Professor Peter Joseph addressed the role of teaching in cultural transformation within the medical and health sciences at a seminar held at the University of Poonch today. The event, aimed at enhancing the university’s global recognition, was attended by a large number of students and faculty members.
According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, the seminar was organized under the guidance of Dr. Izharullah with the support of Dean Faculty Prof. Dr. Abdul Khaliq. Prof. Joseph highlighted the need for a good relationship as part of the educational culture to foster effective teaching and research. He emphasized the importance of tolerance and acceptance in achieving positive cultural change.
During the seminar, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Zakaria Zakir spoke about the university’s pride in its academic excellence and the importance of inviting international experts to enrich the educational experience. He mentioned that such initiatives help in understanding global educational cultures and enhancing the university’s standing in global rankings.
Prof. Joseph received a hand-made pharmacy insignia from the students, symbolizing their appreciation and respect. Meanwhile, Dean of the Medical Health Sciences Faculty, Prof. Dr. Abdul Khaliq, praised the deep impact of the interaction between the students and Prof. Joseph, particularly the insights into European cultural practices.
The seminar also touched on the ongoing changes in culture, advocating for a daily approach to improving relationships and behaviors as a means to effect genuine cultural evolution.
