69% Pakistanis think that the country’s economic situation is worse now as compared to the last six months: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan 

Islamabad, November 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 69% Pakistanis think that the country’s economic situation is worse now as compared to the last six months.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the following question regarding, “In your opinion, how would you describe the current economic situation in Pakistan in comparison to last 6 months?” 4% responded that it is much better, 15% said it is better, 9% said there is no change, 48% said it is worse while 21% said it is much worse while 3% said that they did not know.

The same question was also asked in the first quarter of the year and the responses were such that 1% said that Pakistan’s economic situation is much better in the next six months, 15% said it is better, 21% responded that it will remain the same while 38% said it will be worse and 22% said that it will be much worse and 3% said that they did not know.

Question: ““In your opinion, how would you describe the current economic situation in Pakistan in comparison to last 6 months?”
