Islamabad, November 23, 2021 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 44% businesses in Pakistan report experiencing load-shedding; nearly a quarter of these businesses report 2 hours of load-shedding every day.

A nationally representative sample of businesses across Pakistan was asked the following question, “Was there load shedding in your business today?” In response to this question, 44% said yes and 56% said no. Those who experienced load-shedding were asked, “If yes, for how many hours?” In response to this question, 19% said up to 1 hour, 20% said 2 hours, 16% said 3 hours, 12% said 4 hours, 15% said 5 – 6 hours, 11% said 7 – 8 hours and 7% said more than 8 hours.
