Islamabad, February 07, 2023 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 3 in 5 (59%) Pakistanis who were admitted at hospitals last year were treated at a government hospital.
A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, who responded yes to the question “Has anyone in your family had to be admitted to the hospital in the last year?” was asked the following as a follow up question, “Where did you get them treated?” In response, 59% responded they got treated in the government hospital, 30% said they got treated at a private hospital, 8% said they got treated locally while 3% said they got treated through other means.
