23% Pakistanis as compared to the global average of 48% report having heard about Corporate Social Responsibility: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan 

Islamabad, February 28, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 23% Pakistanis as compared to the global average of 48% report having heard about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “For some years now, we have often heard talk about “Corporate Social Responsibility” or, more simply “Social Responsibility”. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is the attention that companies reserve to “ethical conduct” and to the impact that their business has on the environment, society, and people (citizen, customers, employees). Have you heard of it before?” In response to this question in Pakistan, 23% said yes, 63% said no and 14% didn’t know or gave no response. This response was less than the global average where 48% of the respondents had heard of CSR.
