Cleanliness Drive-2023

Faisalabad, May 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): NTU Green Youth Movement Club, in collaboration with NTU Occupational Safety, Health Care, and Environmental Society and CPGP-NTU Chapter, organized a cleanliness drive at National Textile University on May 9, 2023, for keep our surroundings clean and tidy and for maintaining good health and hygiene. The event was carried out in two parts.

Walk from NTU Main Gate to Rector’s Office: 10:00 a.m. awareness session to participants. Pledge to keep the environment clean. Cleanliness Drive within the focused areas of the university from 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Seminar on Blockchain and Job Drive – Netixsol

Faisalabad, May 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): IT Society (Department of Computer Science) has organized a seminar, Titled “Seminar on Blockchain and Job Drive” for Final Year and Third Year students, with the collaboration of SE Society and CS Society. Mirza M. Usman (CEO Netixsol) along with his team was invited as a guest speaker to the seminar.

The guest speaker shares cutting-edge opportunities related to the industry especially the Internship and Job drive related to the students of BSCS, BSSE, and BSIT programs at the department. These ideas and opportunities will not only help the students to choose their respective platform to solve industrial problems, but also develop an environment of job-leading opportunities through the interviews which were conducted by the team of Netixsol for the selection of Jobs and internships to Students after the seminar at the Video Conference Room (IT Centre).

Seminar held on 8 steps problem-solving techniques

Faisalabad, May 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): Mr. Rehan Saleem, Deputy Manager Mechanical, Interloop ltd gave a Seminar on 8 steps methodology of Problem Solving arranged by NTU society of Textile Weavers. Mr. Hassan Iftekhar (Convener Society NTU Society of Textile Weavers) is thankful to Mr. Rehan Saleem for his precious time.

In the end a token of appreciation was given to Mr. Rehan Saleem. Mr. Rehan, Dr Ali Mehboob (Asst. Interactive Session with International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies Malaysia

Islamabad, May 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): The China Pakistan Study Centre (CPSC) at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) organized an interactive virtual meeting with the International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies (IAIS), Malaysia. The participants included Amb. Sohail Mahmood, Director General, ISSI; Prof. Dr. Maszlee bin Malik, Chairman, IAIS, Malaysia; Dr. Talat Shabbir, Director, China Pakistan Study Centre, ISSI; Dr. Ahmad Badri, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO), IAIS, Malaysia; and members of Team CPSC, ISSI.

During the meeting, the two sides apprised each other of their respective visions, mandates and scope of work and highlighted their outputs over the years as well as the extent of international collaboration. They also acknowledged the complementarity in their objectives and research interests – including building narratives, focusing on relevant global and regional issues, and reinforcing their countries’ foreign policy endeavours.

In his remarks during the Interactive Session, DG ISSI Amb. Sohail Mahmood highlighted the close brotherly relations between Pakistan and Malaysia, the convergence of views between the two countries on major issues, and their long-standing tradition of supporting causes dear to the Muslim Ummah. He also highlighted efforts in the realm of the countering Islamophobia and accentuating Pakistan’s pivot to geo-economics.

The IAIS Chairman, Prof. Dr. Maszlee bin Malik, also former Minister of Education of Malaysia, underscored the fraternal Malaysia-Pakistan relations, stressed the need for enhanced academic and think-tank exchanges, and the importance of developing a ‘road-map’ for IAIS-ISSI collaboration. The meeting concluded with both sides expressing the commitment to forge an institutional relationship and undertake joint endeavours as part of the efforts to build closer people-to-people ties between the two countries.
