Notice: Rescheduling of The Academic Activities – Spring 2023

Lahore, May 16, 2023 (PPI-OT): Keeping in view the recent law and order situation in the country and the persistently low internet services, the University understands the difficulties being faced by the students while performing their academic activities. To accommodate these difficulties, the University has rescheduled the academic activities that were originally planned for the week of May 08, 2023. It is important to note that no change has been made in the Academic Calendar – Spring 2023 or in the number of academic activities to be carried out in the semester.

We would further inform all students that video lectures are readily available at the University’s campuses across Pakistan. If students encounter any issue with their internet connection or accessing YouTube, we strongly advise them to watch the video lecture by visiting their nearest campus, students who are studying from home; can also take advantage of this facility by visiting the nearest VU Campus/PVC and obtaining the video Lectures by presenting their ID Cards or VUIDs.

The University acknowledges the challenges encountered by students and is taking necessary steps to keep its academic activities unaffected. Hence, the restriction of watching lectures on LMS is also being relaxed for the time being so that students can continue their academic journey seamlessly. By rescheduling the academic activities, temporarily lifting the lecture viewing restriction from the LMS and providing an alternate option for accessing the video lectures, the University aims to minimize the impact of the Law-and-Order situation and slow internet services on the academic performance of its students.

Furthermore, the Virtual campuses (VU-owned and PVCs) across Pakistan have been directed to assist all students, regardless of their campus affiliation or status. It is their responsibility to ensure that every student receives the necessary support. The University remains committed to the well-being and academic success of its students during these challenging times.
