Bahawalpur, May 16, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Islamia University of Bahawalpur 8 students of Faculty of Computing, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur got jobs in InfoTech, a leading IT company. According to the vision of the Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob in the Islamia University Bahawalpur, along with the increase in the quality of education, such departments are being established according to the needs of the national and international markets, whose graduates get jobs even before completing their graduation. Shahid Afzal Durrani, Head of Directorate of Career Counselling, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, said that InfoTech is a well-known IT and finance institution.
Last week, the Chief Human Resource Officer of this institution Khurram Munir visited the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and interviewed students in the Faculty of Computing, as a result of which the 7th and 8th semester students have been offered jobs. Apart from this, 8 students of Faculty of Engineering also got jobs in Lakson Group some time ago. The members of the delegation also met Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob.
On this occasion, the members of the delegation were also briefed about the IUB Software Technology Park to be established in Islamia University Bahawalpur. In this technology park, leading companies of the country will open their offices and university graduates will get practical training, internships, jobs and direct access to the national and global IT industry during their studies.
