OKX makes peer-to-peer trading safe, accessible and fee-free

Invitation to submit ideas in National Idea Bank 2022 

Lahore, August 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):National Idea Bank (NIB) is the initiative of the Honourable President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, and was inaugurated by him in February 2021 at his presidency. NIB is a platform to recognize and support innovative ideas in Pakistan. The outstanding ideas are not only getting recognition but also chances for further implementation as industrial integration or investor’s attraction. After the great success of NIB 2021, we have now opened the 2nd Call for Ideas for NIB 2022. This year nine different sectors, for ideas submissions, have been announced covering significant fields of life.

We invite students, faculty, entrepreneurs, and innovators from your university to participate in the NIB 2022 call for ideas. The Deadline for Ideas submission is 29th August 2022. After going through the city and provincial level pitching/competitions, National Finals will be conducted on December 15, 2022, subject to confirmation by the Honourable President of Pakistan.

We are also conducting mentoring and training sessions for free. Online training on ”How to submit a Winning Idea” will be arranged by the NIB team on 13th August 2022 at 2:00 pm Pakistan time and will be repeated on 20th August 2022 at the same time. IIUI students hold candle light vigil to pay tribute to Martyrs of Pak Army 

Islamabad, August 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):Students at male and female campuses of the International Islamic university Islamabad (IIUI) held a candle light vigil to pay homage to the officers and soldiers of the Pak army who embraced martyrdom in a helicopter crash in Baluchistan. The vigil, at female campus was supervised by Dr. Shaista Shehzada and Dr Asma Gul from Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences. They paid rich tributes to the martyrs for the sacrifice.

On the male side, the activity was organized by Provost Office. Dr. Abrar Anver, Provost Male in his speech on the occasion said these brave men of soil have sacrificed life for the homeland. He added that nation is sad on this tragedy. Earlier, IIUI Rector Dr. Masoom Yasin Zai and President Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaobi in their condolence messages, expressed deep grief and sorrow over shahadat of Corps Commander Quetta Lt. Gen. Sarfraz Ali and five other army officers and soldiers in an unfortunate helicopter accident in Lasbela.

Meanwhile, IIUI shall organize dua for the departed souls of all six Pakistan Army officers and soldiers including Quetta Corps Commander Lt Gen Sarfraz Ali, Brig Amjad Hanif, Brig Muhammad Khalid, Major Saeed Ahmed, Major M. Talha Manan and Naik Mudassar Fayyaz at Faisal Masjid at 5:50 pm on Wednesday August 3.
