حالیہ کالونو کښې Guizhou  اقتصادی ترقی او ماحولیاتی تحفظ له یکساں اہمیت ورکړے دے۔ د Guizhou ماحولیاتی تحفظ محکمے مطابق 2021 کښې د ماحولیاتی ماحول معیار عام طور ښه او مستحکم دے۔

اوبو معیار نه علاوہ Guizhou د ہوا مثالی معیار هم ولیدو او 9 مرکزی ښارونو کښې AQI (ایئر کوالټی انډیکس) سره د دواړو اوسط تعداد 98.4% دے۔

له د نه هم اہم خبره دا ده چی د ځنګلاتو احاطہ کښې اضافے شرح او د Guizhou دوبارہ لګولی پټو مقدار چین کې اولنی نمبر باندے دے۔ تیر شوی 10 کالو کښې Guizhou 50.97 ملین (3.4 ملین ہیکٹر) mu ځنګلات شجرکاری مکمل کړه کوم کښې د ځنګلات کوریج شرح 47 فیصد نه 62.12 فیصد شوه۔

د Guizhou صوبے محکمہ ځنګلات مطابق Guizhou د مختلف اقسامو 314 قدرتی ذخائر قائم کړی دی او د حیاتیاتی تنوع دولت په ملک کښې سرفہرست دے۔ د ځنګلات  کل پیداوار مالیت 40.1 بلین یوآن نه 371.9 بلین یوآن شوه، لس کالو کښې 9 ګنا نه زیاته اضافہ شوی ده۔

‫صاف پانی، نیلا آسمان، سرسبز پہاڑ: ماحولیاتی تحفظ میں گوئژو کی کوششیں رنگ لے آئیں

گوئژو کے ماحولیاتی تحفظ کے محکمے کے مطابق 2021 میں گوئژو میں پانی کی سطح کا مجموعی معیار “بہترین” ہے اور  97.7 فیصد بڑے دریا کی مانیٹرنگ کرنے والے سیکشن اچھے معیار کے ہیں۔ تاہم موجودہ کامیابی کے لیے گوئژو صوبائی حکومت کی جانب سے مشترکہ کوشش کی ضرورت ہے۔

ماحولیاتی تحفظ اور گورننس کے شعبے میں گوئژو کی کوششوں نے غیر ملکیوں پر بہت اچھا اثر ڈالا ہے۔ چین میں اسپین کے سفیر رافیل ڈیزکالر نے کہا کہ گوئژو نے ماحولیاتی گورننس اور سبز ترقی کے اختراعی حل تجویز کیے ہیں اور اس کے قابل ذکر نتائج حاصل ہوئے ہیں۔

جنوب مغربی چین کے شہر کائیانگ، گوئژو میں فاسفورس راک کان کنی کمپنیاں اور مینوفیکچرنگ انٹرپرائزز اس وقت غائب ہو چکے ہیں۔”مقامی ماحولیاتی ماحول میں بڑی حد تک بہتری آئی ہے۔ اب فاسفورس کی بدبو نہیں آتی ہے اور دھول اور شور بھی کم ہو گیا ہے.” کائیانگ کے رہائشی گو قیان شوانگ نے اپنے آبائی شہر خصوصا دریائے یانگشوئی میں قابل ذکر تبدیلیاں دیکھی ہیں۔

دریائے یانگشوئی دریائے وو کا دوسرا سطحی معاون دریا ہے۔گزشتہ صدی کے آخر میں قریبی کمپنیوں نے گندے پانی کو دریا میں چھوڑ دیا تھا جس کی وجہ سے فاسفورس کی سطح ڈرامائی طور پر بلند ہوگئی اور دریا آلودہ ہوگیا۔

دریائے یانگشوئی کے پانی کے معیار کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے گوئژو نے ریور چیف سسٹم (آر سی ایس) پر سختی سے عمل درآمد کیا، نئے ضوابط تجویز کیے اور سیوریج ٹریٹمنٹ سسٹم کو بہتر بنایا ہے۔

آلودگی کے موثر علاج کے بعد دریائے یانگشوئی کی کل فاسفورس کی سطح تقریبا 8.0 ملی گرام/ایل سے کم ہو کر 0.2 ملی گرام/ایل رہ گئی اور پانی کا معیار گریڈ III تک پہنچ گیا ہے۔ تیزی سے صاف یانگشوئی دریا ماحولیاتی تہذیب کے بارے میں گوئژو کے مثبت رویے کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔

پانی کے تحفظ کے علاوہ گوئژو نے پودوں کے تحفظ میں جدت کو فروغ دیا ہے۔ انشون، گوئژو میں متعلقہ محکمے نے قدیم درختوں کے بارے میں معلومات ریکارڈ کرنے کے لیے بڑے ڈیٹا کا اطلاق کیا ہے اور اس کے مطابق کیو آر کوڈ پلیٹیں بنائی ہیں۔

ایک مقامی شہری فانگ منگ نے کہا کہ “جب تک لوگ کیو آر کوڈ اسکین کرتے ہیں، ہم ان قدیم درختوں کی بنیادی معلومات دیکھ سکتے ہیں، جیسے جغرافیائی محل وقوع، نمو کی حیثیت اور ہائی ڈیفینیشن تصاویر۔ اس طرح ہم پودوں کو بہتر طور پر سمجھ سکتے ہیں اور ان کی حفاظت کر سکتے ہیں۔” اس وقت 1300 سے زائد قدیم درختوں کی الیکٹرانک آئی ڈی ہے جو پودوں کے موثر تحفظ کے قابل بناتی ہے۔

مزید برآں ماحولیاتی تحفظ کے حوالے سے گوئژو نے رہائشیوں کے روزمرہ کے معمولات پر بھی توجہ دی ہے۔ضلع ژونگشان، لیوپنشوئی میں ایک فوڈ اسٹریٹ میں چلتے ہوئے گاہکوں کو پتہ چل سکتا ہے کہ ہر ریستوران نے نیا آئل مسٹ ایلیمینیٹر نصب کیا ہے۔

اب تک ضلع ژونگشان نے ہوا کے معیار کی مانیٹرنگ کا ایک مکمل نظام تشکیل دیا ہے۔ اگر فضائی آلودگی کی سطح محفوظ حدود سے تجاوز کر جائے تو الارم خود بخود بند ہو جائے گا۔اور اس کے بعد متعلقہ محکمے کاروباری اداروں کو بروقت مطلع کریں گے اور دھول پر قابو پانے کے اقدامات کریں گے۔

یہ دیکھا جاسکتا ہے کہ پائیدار ترقی کے حصول میں  گوئژو کی ترجیح ، ماحولیاتی ترجیحات کی قیادت کر رہی ہے۔ درحقیقت چین کے تیرہویں پانچ سالہ منصوبے کے دوران صدر شی جن پنگ نے گوئژو میں ماحولیاتی تہذیب کی تعمیر پر بہت توجہ دی ہے اور متعدد اہم ہدایات جاری کی ہیں۔”صاف پانی اور سبز پہاڑ سونے اور چاندی کے پہاڑوں کی طرح اچھے ہیں” کے تصور نے گوئژو کے ترقیاتی عمل کو نئی شکل دی ہے۔

حالیہ برسوں میں گوئژو نے معاشی ترقی اور ماحولیاتی تحفظ کو یکساں اہمیت دی ہے۔ گوئژو کے ماحولیاتی تحفظ کے محکمے کے مطابق 2021 میں ماحولیاتی ماحول کا معیار عام طور پر اچھا اور مستحکم ہے۔

پانی کے معیار کے علاؤہ گوئژو میں ہوا کا مثالی معیار بھی دیکھا گیا اور 9 مرکزی شہروں میں اے کیو آئی (ایئر کوالٹی انڈیکس) کے ساتھ دنوں کی اوسط تعداد 98.4 فیصد ہے۔

اس سے بھی اہم بات یہ ہے کہ جنگلات کی کوریج میں اضافے کی شرح اور گوئژو کے دوبارہ سے لگائے گئے کھیتوں کی مقدار چین میں پہلے نمبر پر ہے۔ گزشتہ 10 سالوں میں گوئژو نے 50.97 ملین ایم یو (3.4 ملین ہیکٹر) کی شجرکاری مکمل کی جس میں جنگلات کی کوریج کی شرح 47 فیصد سے بڑھ کر 62.12 فیصد ہوگئی۔

صوبہ گوئژو کے محکمہ جنگلات کے مطابق گوئژو نے مختلف اقسام کے 314 قدرتی ذخائر قائم کیے ہیں اور ملک میں حیاتیاتی تنوع کی دولت سرفہرست ہے۔جنگلات کی پیداوار کی مجموعی مالیت 40.1 ارب یوآن سے بڑھ کر 371.9 ارب یوآن ہوگئی ہے جس میں دس سالوں میں 9 گنا سے زیادہ اضافہ ہوا ہے۔

UVAS, SPCA and Brook Pakistan jointly arranges consultative meeting on the ‘Role of Religion in Building an Animal Welfare Society’ 

Lahore, August 18, 2022 (PPI-OT):The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore, Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and Brook Pakistan jointly organized a consultative meeting on the ‘Role of Religion in Building an Animal Welfare Society’ here in the Falettis Hotel Lahore on Thursday.

Member Provincial Assembly Ms Ayesha Iqbal, UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad, Honorary Secretary (SPCA) Prof Dr Masood Rabbani, Advocacy Manager Brook Pakistan Syed Naeem Abbas, Animal Rights Activists Ms Ayeza Haider and Ms Aniza Khan and a large number of UVAS Faculty members, religious scholars, officials from Livestock Department, SPCA, Brook Pakistan and NGO`s were present in the meeting.

While addressing the audience, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad said that UVAS clinics and labs provide treatment and disease diagnostic facilities to livestock farming community for the welfare of animals to save their life from deadly diseases. He also mentioned hundreds of Pets lover getting maximum benefits in terms of their pets and birds treatment on daily basis and said veterinarian purely working for the noble cause. He said UVAS recently added animal rights course in the curriculum of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).

Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad said UVAS veterinarians always follow protocols of humane handling during animal treatment and he condemned all ambiguities associated like brutally treated animals during surgery, clinical test and Artificial Insemination. He spoke about the history of UVAS and initiatives taken by SPCA in the recent years for the prevention of cruelty to animals and conducted different trainings and workshops related to stray dog birth control through surgical neutering and rabies vaccination etc.

Earlier, Shariah Advisor Ever Fresh Farm Mufti Asad Mahmood delivered an informative lecture on the occasion. He spoke the participants about various aspects of Deen-e-Islam for the welfare of animals related source of shariah, purpose and responsibility of life, Allah happiness, importance of fulfilling the rights of animals, fare treatment and rewards, benefit of feeding animals, animal welfare with respect to slaughtering, feeds, health, dehorning, milking and avoid beating and Dr Muhammad Sarwar Siddique briefly explaining about the animal welfare while Mr Naeem Abbas spoke about the importance of working animals in supporting peoples livelihood and action of animal health campaign under one health approach. Prof Dr Masood Rabbani spoke about the role of SPCA in prevention of cruelty to animals.

Overseas delegation of PML calls on CM Punjab 

Lahore, August 18, 2022 (PPI-OT):President PML Scotland Shabbir Shah, president of Canada chapter Arjmand Bukhari, Tahir Bukhari and Muhammad Waqas from the UK called on Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi at his office. CM condoles the demise of the wife of Haji Obaid Raza
