18% of Pakistanis know someone from their social circle who has been diagnosed with coronavirus; people from urban areas are more likely to know someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 as compared those in rural areas: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan 

Islamabad, August 16, 2021 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 18% of Pakistanis know someone from their social circle who has been diagnosed with coronavirus.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “Do you know someone in your social circle who has been diagnosed with COVID-19?” In response to this question, 18% responded in the affirmative while 82% stated that they did not know anyone from their social circle who had been diagnosed with COVID-19.
