With the passage of Quran Act new generation will recite Holy Quran and Sirat-un-Nabi (SAW) and will not go wayward Ch Parvez Elahi

Lahore, September 09, 2021 (PPI-OT):Ten members parliamentary delegation headed by Deputy Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mehmood Jan, KPK Provincial Labour Minister Shaukat Ali Yousafzai and Minister for Higher Education Kamran Bangash called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi in the Speaker’s Chamber here today (Wednesday).

Delegation included MPAs Dr Sumaira Shamas, Madiha Nisar, Asiya Saleh Khattak Syeda Nudrat, Saima Ghazan, Abidullah and Tahira Kaleem whereas Secretary Punjab Assembly Mohammad Khan Bhatti, Secretary Coordination Rai Mumtaz Hussain Babar and D.G. Parliamentary Affairs Inayatullah Lak were also present in the meeting.

In the meeting views were exchanged regarding matters of mutual interest, promotion of inter-provincial harmony and consensus was also reached for maximum exchanges of delegations for further strengthening of contacts between the provinces, Deputy Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mehmood Jan congratulated Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi on getting the Quran Act passed and activation of new building and house of the Punjab Assembly.

Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi said that with the passage of the Quran Act future generations will read the Holy Quran and Sirat-un-Nabi (SAW) and will not go wayward, selected Ayaat of Holy Quran and Ahadith Mubarak displayed in the new building, displaying of Ayaat and Ahadith about the Khatam-e-Nubawwat (SAW) and paying tributes to the Pakistan makers heroes is the specialty of the new building.

He said if the development works of our tenure were not stopped then Punjab would have been an ideal province today, Shehbaz Sharif stopped our started development projects now their cost have escalated manifold, hospitals, educational institutions, other institutions of development, public welfare and well-being established during my chief minister-ship were also not allowed to be operational.

He further said that all four provincial governments will have to pay special attention to education because without education dream of country’s development cannot be materialized. Deputy Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mehmood Jan praised the projects of peoples’ welfare undertaken during tenure of Ch Parvez Elahi. The delegation paid tributes to the Speaker Punjab Assembly on passing Quran Act and historical legislation. The delegation also visited the new building and house of the Punjab Assembly.
