Lahore, The Virtual University of Pakistan has announced the commencement of the course selection process for the Spring 2024 semester, set to begin on April 01, 2024. The university has activated the course selection link under the “Student Services” tab in the VULMS (Virtual University Learning Management System), advising students to log in to their accounts and select their courses promptly before the start of the semester. The deadline for adding or dropping courses is Wednesday, April 10, 2024, after which tuition fee vouchers will not be revised.

According to Virtual University of Pakistan, newly admitted students in their first semester have pre-selected courses, while those enrolled through the BS Entry Route are given the flexibility to select their courses as per the prescribed study scheme. Continuing students are urged to make their course selections to avoid being marked as “INACTIVE STUDENT” and potentially facing a fine under the “Semester Freeze Rules.”

The university has also outlined the course and workload limits for each study program in the “Course Selection Rules” published in the student handbook. Students are advised to carefully read these rules before making their course selections to ensure compliance with scholarship eligibility and program completion requirements.

Furthermore, the guidelines emphasize the importance of following the semester-wise study scheme, adhering to course prerequisite rules, and understanding the policies for grade improvement. Students who have exceeded the maximum duration for their study program or have blocked accounts due to non-payment of fees are reminded of the specific conditions affecting their course selection privileges.
