Lahore, The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore, in a collaborative effort between the Character Building Society (CBS) and UVAS Women Harassment Committee, recently held a seminar titled “Workplace Harassment: The Law Every Professional Should Know.”

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the seminar aimed to educate faculty and staff about harassment laws and foster a harassment-free workplace. The guest speaker, Barrister Ms. Nudrat Bayan Majeed, discussed the legal rights and responsibilities of professionals concerning harassment. Prof Dr. Muhammad Younus and Dr. Aneela Durani also shared insights during the seminar, which was attended by numerous faculty members and staff. The event concluded with the Vice-Chancellor presenting a shield to the guest speaker in recognition of her contributions to raising awareness on this critical issue.
