Jamshoro, The University of Sindh, along with its campuses, will be closed from April 10 to 12, 2024, in observance of the Eid al-Fitr holidays, as declared by the Government of Sindh. This break coincides with the festive period marking the end of Ramadan, allowing students and faculty to celebrate the occasion.
According to University of Sindh, the closure notification was issued by the registrar, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Ali Jari. Despite the holiday period, it has been clarified that certain staff members will continue to perform necessary duties to maintain operational continuity during this time. This arrangement ensures that essential functions and services of the university are upheld while observing the significant cultural and religious festival of Eid al-Fitr.
The university’s decision aligns with the broader governmental schedule for public holidays, reflecting the institution’s adherence to cultural practices and providing an opportunity for the academic community to partake in the celebrations.
