Lahore, The Institute of Social and Cultural Studies at the University of Punjab has rescheduled the public defense and viva voce examination of Ph.D. scholar Mr. Syed Babar Ali. The event, originally planned for , will now be held on , 2024, at 11:00 a.m. due to an official holiday.
According to University of The Punjab, the defense will take place in the Committee Room of the Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS). Mr. Ali’s dissertation is titled “An Educational Intervention of Health Workers to Address the Social Determinants of Health: A Mixed Method Study in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.” This research is of paramount importance in understanding how educational programs for health workers can impact public health outcomes by addressing social determinants. Faculty members, along with M.Phil and Ph.D. scholars, have been invited to attend and participate in the event.
The university anticipates that Mr. Ali’s defense will contribute significantly to the academic discourse on public health strategies and educational interventions in Pakistan.
